The camera appears slightly looking down at a face painted in white, the room is poorly lit but the white face-painting is seen clearly. Mr Katz is dressed in black, with a gold cross dangling over his chest, and with a huge green coat over his shoulders appears backstage in the Madison Square Garden arena. Mr Katz strums a few notes from a guitar with a silent chuckle before turning his head to the camera.
Mr. Katz: Well I never rocked out in Madison Square Garden but it’s a fitting place to make a debut. Madison Square Garden is a fitting place for a rockstar to be born. A place where the “icons” and “legends” such as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Jackson 5, and Elvis Presley played has awoken me from my cat nap.
Closing his eyes, Mr Katz breathes in the New York air and the spirit of Rock and Roll into his lungs. Mr Katz exhales and opens his bright, green eyes with a smile on his painted face, the rockstar turns his head back to the camera.
Mr Katz: It’s even more fitting my first ever opponent is some sort of rock and roll fan, someone who refers to himself as Rock N Roll God. Now I did not come here to debate with him what the best rock and roll song is, I came here because it’s my time to be a champion. You see the World championship in this company and my soul are united by harmony. There is something spiritual saying I deserve that World title, that the World title and I shall not be separated from each other. I’m not scared by a god, you see I hear a multitude of voices in my head and the most consistent of them is telling me to not be scared.
Mr. Katz holds his breath. The screen plays a clip of footage from Rock N Roll God’s own company ECWF, the Wartime Rumble showing a masked figure winning by eliminating Mark Frenzy last.
Mr Katz: Is this what it feels like to be alive? I hear a voice, clear as day telling me that I have nothing to fear. I’m terrified but I am placing my faith in the voice.
The screen plays a clip of the same masked figure hitting an Underhook DDT on Mr B in ECWF’s Chamber of Horrors.
Mr Katz: Rock N Roll God, strike me down. I’m not afraid of you, I’m a nonbeliever. I put my faith in the voice
Mr Katz silently chuckles as the screen plays a clip of the masked figure hitting an Underhook DDT on Hammerstein in ECWF’s Chamber of Horrors.
Mr Katz: With the birth of my existence, I will end you Rock N Roll God.
Mr Katz grabs the camera, the screen slowly fades away as he shuts off the camera.
