Laying down on the soft grass, gazing up at the stars that align the sky on this Australian warm night, Brianna watches in a siren peaceful tranquility. A gentle breeze flutters her hair around, and the sound of crickets in the background is the only sound besides the sound of the waves crashing against the nearby shore. High on a buff that over looked the bay of the ocean, nothing man-made, or man in general were around her to disturb her rarity of silence. Her green eyes watch shooting stars that shoot across, these little miracles distracting her from what is to come in a few weeks.
In a few weeks, Brianna would be made to compete against two number one contenders, not for her belt, but for the Pure Championship and the Hardcore Championship. They would be using her as a warm up to prepare for their future matches. But what was the point of this match that was to prepare for nothing? What was she going to take away from this match besides another possible victory? Nothing really. She just defeated better talent, taking on five other figures, and here she was only taking on two others. Ryan Kelly and Mr. Katz. Now, while Mr. Katz has semi-impressed her, she really wasn't intimidated about this match. She was looking forward to just moving past this match, and getting on to bigger and better things. Not that there was much better than what she has already achieved. It will be pretty hard to compare
A month ago, Brianna managed to capture something that everyone in the business that everyone else strived to achieve. And she did it in her debute match. She captured the world championship. The title everyone envied to have, but select few ever got the opportunity to compete for it, let alone claim it. It was on her bucket list, but she never imagined she would have achieved it so early in her career. It pleased her, that her abiilities have come this far that she was able to do so this quickly, but it also worried her. Now that she rose to the top in her first match, where was she to go from here? The answer was obvious, but she didn't dear breath a word about what she wanted, in fear that she would be denied something that would put her mind and body through more turmoil that was due to come now that she was the champion. Maybe she would get what she wanted to do next, and not have to hint at the owner, Tiger, what he should do for her next now that she proved she had what it took to compete in the big leagues against the best of the bests.
Speaking of the best of the bests, her cousin and his wife also had respective matches. They were taking time to go to to the gym to prepare for their matches, putting more time and energy in than was probably necessary for them, but as for Brianna, shes never faced Mr Katz or Ryan before, let alone heard of them. They were mostly doing this for her benefit, so she would be as prepared as she could be for this match up.
She felt kind of bad for Mr Katz. He recently lost the hardcore championship to the puke, Kieran Overton. Now, it was kind of comical and should reassure Brianna, that she was facing someone who lost to a competitor like Overton. After all, she just destroyed him a few weeks prior to his current victory. So if Mr. Katz couldn't even defeat someone like Kieran, what reason could there be to worry about a character like him? As for Ryan Kelly, Brianna didn't know much about him, but she was learning to take in his recent accomplishment of becoming the Pure Champion number one contender, so she knew not to take him lightly as she might Mr. Katz.
To be a number one contender, while not as hard as winning a championship persay, was still a pretty good accomplishment. Ryan must have had to defeat a certain number of talents to earn something as respective as a shot at gold. It made her a little nervous to go into another match blind, but she hasn't had much time to do research on him and what he could put together to achieve. According to Michael, he was just another competitor like any other. Nothing truly remarkable about him, but not to write him off as another Zoe McDraven.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
Her phone chimes off and she sits up quickly, and grabs her phone. Michaels name scrolls on the ID and she answers.
Michael Rissi: Hey, where are you? Dinners getting cold
Bree Bree: What? What time is it?
Michael Rissi: Almost nine. Are you on your way?
Brianna bolts up and grabs the make shift pillow she was using out of her sweatshirt, and bundles it up and dashes down a dirt path.
Brianna Rissi: Yea, I'll be there in fifteen minutes. Sorry, I lost track of the time. Do you need me to pick up anything at the store?
Michael Rissi: No, just waiting on you. Don't rush. No need to risk a car accident over chicken.
Brianna shakes her head.
Bree Bree: Ok, well, you don't have to wait up for me.
Michael Rissi: NO, its fine. Joanna is finishing up her shows episode anyway. We can always zap it in the microwave. Just don't get pulled over by the police or something.
Bree Bree: All right. See you soon.
She hangs up the phone and picks up the pace.
Bree Bree: Stupid. So stupid.
Lately, a lot has been on her mind and distractions have caused her to be late on more than one occasion. She runs down the rest of her trail and then stops at her canary yellow jeep. Fumbling with the keys, she unlocks the drivers side door and hops in. The vehicle roars to life and vibrates under her as she puts it in reverse, pulls out of the makeshift parking spot, and then peels out on to the street, and rushes to her cousins before he kills her, before her ladder match.
TBC (Going through personal issues. I was planning on posting 2 and i still will. My first one is almost done (original first one) but i saw that my boiz Katz and Kelly posted somehting already and decided to wing a part 1) SRY!
