JUDGING
When Judging the result of a match, many factors will come into play and the chosen Divine Wrestling Judges must and will look over and apply these specifications to their judging of the Roleplay(s) presented. The direct elements that are looked at when judging an RP are: Match Relevance, Character Development, Universe Relevance and Layout. Some of these elements are worth more points to the judges than other elements are but one factor in an RP remains most important regardless of the mentioned categories and that is DETAIL. A successful RP is Detailed, Interesting and Relevant to the Match at hand.
1. Match Relevance
Match Relevance is the most integral thing element when judging a Roleplay. The match at hand and Divine Wrestling are the most important things in the story of not only Divine Wrestling but also your character. This is where you make your case on why your character should win the match you're competing in and debating on why your opponent should ultimately lose. A detailed and well thought out analysis or story regarding your match will be judged and will serve as 60% of the final internal score on your Roleplay.
2. Character Development
Character Development is also very important. It gives everyone insight into the contruction, personality and color of your character. Detailed story based around your chatcateristics and characters lives everyday will be judged. Judges will also look for any tie-ins from your characters thoughts about Divine Wrestling and how the Divine Universe Relevance relates to their outside lives. Ultimately this will make up 30% of your final score.
3. Layout
Layout is also important to the judges. No one has to use fancy layouts or offsite RP layouts or anything like that but it is more helpful to your story when it is easy to ready and flows nicely. Easy to read text, layout, grammatical structure and response are all things that help the overall look, feel and flow of your RP. While this isn't too much of an integral element to your RP it is still a somewhat important factor in the legibility of your story and will account for 10% of your Roleplay's final score.
Other aspects that may affect judging are Sandbagging your opponent against the deadline. The later you post your Roleplays the more they may lose substance in points. For example: you will lose no points in the first week of the deadline - for each day that passes in the second week of the deadline you will lose very minor points. If you post in the first week then post in the second week you will lose no points. You cannot post a two Roleplays in the last 24hrs of the deadline. This won't impact the results of peoples Roleplays too harshly but everyone hates Sandbaggers, even Sandbaggers!
RP Rules
Roleplay Limit: 2 Roleplays Max
Word Limits: 3000 Words Max
2 RPs may not be posted in the final 24hrs of the Deadline.
The maximum number of points achievable is 100%.
Minor points are docked in the second week of the deadline if you have not posted in the first week.
The best RP(s) will win the contest. 1 RP can beat 2RPs and vice versa.
If you post a Roleplay in the first week you are exempt from second week point docking unless it's in the final 24hrs.
